As I promised my family, here's a picture to illustrate where I'll be spending my first month and a half in Korea. Goesan is about a three hour bus ride south of Seoul. The university where I'll be staying during Orientation is Kangwon National University, which has about 20,000 students, all of whom I imagine will be attending classes during this time, since we are arriving in the middle of the school year. I suppose I'll be finding out pretty soon, since I'm leaving in just a few days!
* Oops! I originally wrote this post under the assumption that I was going to Chuncheon, as this was the old orientation site. But no, I am in beautiful Goesan, and I certainly have no complaints.
